We love Disney and its characters. Disney movies are immortal, we watched them when we were children, and (let's face it!) we're still watchin them. They are fun, entertaining and they teach us important life lessons that we tend to forget. But there are some Disney facts that you may not know. Impress your friends with these Disney facts:

There's a basketball hopp inside the Matterhorn at Disneyland.

The telegraph office in New Orleans Aquare is "sending" the first two sentences of Walt Disney's opening-day speech.

Yen Sid, the sorcerer featured in Fantasia, is actually Disney spelled backwards.

Bernard (from The Rescuers) suffers from triskaidekaphobia, or fear of the number of thirteen.

Walt Disney and Salvador Dali worked together on a short film called "Destino" in 1945. 54 years later, the demo footage and concept art was finally edited together into a six-minute movie.

"Can You Feel The Love Tonight" was originally supposed to be sung by Timon and Pumbaa.

The official voices of Mickey and Minnie Mouse were married to each other. Their names were Wayne Allwine and Russi Taylor and they were married until his death in 2009.
