Here's Your First Look At The Return Of Frozen: Frozen Fever

Frozen fans should be very excited: the first look at the upcoming Disney short, Frozen Fever, a sequel to Disney's mega hit Frozen, is here!

Frozen Fever is a seven-minute short film which reunites the cast, characters, directors and even songwriters of the original 2013 movie, and will be screened ahead of Disney's Cinderella (that hits cinemas on March 13 in the US and April 3 in the UK).

Speaking about the new mini-movie, co-director Chris Buck reveals: "It's another side of Elsa the audience hasn't seen before and we hadn't really played with in the original feature."

Buck and Lee have reunited as directors of the project, which sees Anna's plans to put on a birthday party for Elsa get ruined, after the snow queen catches a cold. Lee reveals: "Elsa doesn't get a cold in the usual way. She's special. Surprising things occur that wreak a little havoc."

Actor Gad added of the story: "We continue this story of these two sisters, who only had each other growing up together. They are still supporting each other. That's what this is about." "The gang is back together. And literally it's like we never went away," said Gad. "Every day we're reminded of Frozen in our lives. So it feels like a continuation of a saga that has many parts still untold. It felt like coming home again after a short absence."

"It's another side of Elsa the audience hasn't seen before and we hadn't really played with in the original feature," says Chris Buck, who reunited with Jennifer Lee to direct the short.

The short features a new song from the husband-and-wife team of Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, who won an Oscar for Let it Go. Parents, be warned: The new song is catchy.

"If history is any indicator, kids will go nuts," says Gad.

The film hits theaters on March 13, 2015 with Disney's new live-action "Cinderella."
